One man shot to death in north Minneapolis.
One man was shot to death and another wounded early Thursday evening in Minneapolis' Camden neighborhood.
The two victims appeared to have been together and were shot by a suspect or suspects who fled the scene, said Inspector Mike Martin. No arrests have been made.
Martin said police received a call about the shootings about 5 p.m. and found one victim dead and the other shot in the leg when they arrived at the scene on the street near the intersection of 52nd Avenue N. and N. 6th Street. The wounded man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he was in stable condition Thursday night, Martin said.
Neither the names or ages of the victims were released, but Martin said they were both adults.
Martin said such a crime is unusual in the area, which has many active block clubs and "has been really quiet, especially lately."
The victim is the fifth homicide victim in Minneapolis this year.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Minneapolis police tip line at 612-692-8477.
