An International Falls, Minn., oil facility damaged by fire Monday continues to operate out of temporary quarters and is still serving customers, a company spokeswoman said.

The Rainy Lake Oil Co. set up shop in Shannon's Square, and trucks were able to deliver home heating oil to customers, said Janelle Heem, an administrative assistant. "We are still in business," she said. "Customers will be able to stay warm over the holidays."

A large fire erupted at the plant about 7:10 p.m., Monday and several explosions were heard, authorities said.

Nobody was hurt, and International Falls Mayor Robert Anderson said no adjacent structures were damaged.

There was no word on what caused the fire, which crews were able to contain.
