Acacia Park Cemetery, 2151 Pilot Knob Rd., Mendota Heights. Service at 10 a.m., featuring speaker Col. Jorge Llambes, Commander of the 934th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, Air Force Reserve Command. Adath Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery, 3740 Winnetka Av. N., Crystal. Jewish war veterans and Holocaust survivors will be remembered in a service at 10:30 a.m., including music, prayers and the sounding of taps. Holocaust survivor Michael Engel will speak. Cantor Scott Buckner will sing, accompanied by Dave Haberman on the trumpet. All veterans' graves will be decorated with a U.S. flag.

Anoka Veterans Memorial, Forest Hills Cemetery, W. Main St. and Hwy. 10, Anoka. The American Legion, Edward B. Cutter Post 102, will hold a service at 10 a.m.

Bicentennial Garden, Nicollet and 130th St., Burnsville. Program at 9:30 a.m. with Mayor Elizabeth Kautz and the Civil Air Patrol Valley Cadets. Sponsored by Sweet Sioux Garden Club and Blue Star Moms.

Bloomington Cemetery, 10340 Lyndale Av. S., Bloomington. The Earl C. Hill American Legion Post 550 and the Everett R. McClay Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1296 will have the annual parade at 9 a.m. It will leave from the Ziegler Company parking lot on 94th St. and Aldrich Av. The parade, including the police honor guard, will move south on Lyndale Avenue to the cemetery for a service.

Calvary Cemetery, 753 Front Av., St. Paul. Rain or shine, a memorial service and mass will be conducted by the Rev. Kevin McDonough at 10 a.m.

Champlin American Legion Post 600 will hold services at St. Fridolin's Cemetery, 11700 Goose Lake Rd., at 8:30 a.m.; Champlin Cemetery, 917 Cartway Av., at 9:30 a.m.; Champlin Veterans Park, Hwy. 169 and Hayden Lake Rd., at 10:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Jr. 10th District Cmdr. John Torma.

Columbia Heights City Hall, 590 40th Av. NE, Columbia Heights. VFW Post 230 and its auxiliary will conduct a service at 11:30 a.m.

Crystal Lake Cemetery, 3816 Penn Av. N., Minneapolis. Service at 9 a.m. near the old chapel. The guest speaker is Lt. Col. Randy Tabor, U.S. Army.

Dawn Valley Memorial Park, 9940 Bush Lake Rd., Bloomington. Earl C. Hill American Legion Post 550 and Everett McClay VFW Post 1296 will sponsor a service at 11 a.m.

Elmhurst Cemetery, 1510 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Service at 9 a.m. Phillip Ewerdt is the speaker.

Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 3400 Century Av. N., Mahtomedi. Open 24 hours. Program at 11 a.m., conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1350 and American Legion Post 39.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1800 Edgerton St., Maplewood. Open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Arcade-Phalen Legion Post 577 will lead a program at 9:30 a.m. with speaker Maj. Blane Iffert, State Command Historian, Minnesota National Guard.

Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Av. S., Minneapolis. Music begins at 9:30 a.m. The program follows with guest speaker Col. Kenneth Beale, Command Chaplain, U.S. Army Reserve. Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Sen. Amy Klobuchar will attend.

Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 42nd Av. N., New Hope. Mass at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Estrem and the Honor Guard, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, along with American Legion Post 251 and VFW Post 494, rain or shine.

German Liberal Cemetery, 2629 Hamel Rd., Medina. At 11:30 a.m., the Hamel American Legion, John Pohlker Post 394, will perform a three-volley salute and taps.

Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 5125 Broadway, Crystal. Service at 2 p.m. with speaker Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Dennis Schulstad, U.S. Air Force.

Greenlawn Cemetery, 501 Park St., Wayzata. Honor Guard ceremony at 9:15 a.m. conducted by the Wayzata American Legion Post 118 .

Grey Eagle/Burtrum Lions Club, Grey Eagle, Minn. 8:45 a.m. St. Joseph Cemetery memorial; 9:15 a.m. parade in downtown Grey Eagle; 10:15 a.m. Lakeview Cemetery memorial; parade and program at 11 a.m. in Burtrum.

Heritage Park, Wayzata Blvd. at Hwy. 101, Wayzata. American Legion Post 118 will conduct an Honor Guard ceremony at 11:30 a.m.

Hillside Cemetery and Funeral Home, 2610 19th Av. NE., Minneapolis. 10 a.m. service at the Bell Tower with speaker Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Dennis Schulstad, U.S. Air Force.

Lewis Cemetery, Hwy. 12 and County Rd. 90, Maple Plain. Paul Stinson Post 514 service at 10:30 a.m. with guest speaker Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Timothy Kennedy, Minnesota National Guard. The Orono High School band, soloist Shawn Stout and Pastor Gregg Donnelley will participate.

Mankato Calvary Cemetery, at the end of Goodyear Avenue, Mankato. Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Ted Hottinger at 8:45 a.m.

Minnesota Veterans Home, 5101 Minnehaha Av. S. Outdoor service at 2 p.m. by the front entrance of Building 15. In case of rain, the service will be in the main dining room. Guest speaker is Col. Kenneth Beale Jr., Command Chaplain, U.S. Army Reserve.

Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Memorial, State Capitol grounds, John Ireland Blvd. and the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St Paul. Service at 3 p.m. sponsored by Anoka County Chapter 470, Vietnam Veterans of America. The guest speaker is Vietnam veteran Dennis Berg.

Mound Cemetery, 3515 69th Av. N., Brooklyn Center. Open 24 hours. American Legion Post 630 and Palmer Lake VFW will conduct a service at 11 a.m.

Oakland Cemetery, 927 Jackson St., St. Paul. Service at 10 a.m. at the Soldiers Rest. The guest speakers are Janice Rettmann, Ramsey County Commissioner, and 4th District American Legion Commander Robin Picray. A civil war tour by Pat Hill begins at 11:30 a.m.

Oak Hill Cemetery, 59th St. and Lyndale Av. S., Minneapolis. A service conducted by American Legion Post 435 begins at 10 a.m.

Old St. Thomas Cemetery, Trail Haven Rd., Corcoran. The Rev. George Kinney will say a prayer and the Hamel American Legion, John Pohlker Post 394, will honor veterans with a three-volley salute and taps at 9:15 a.m.

Old Wayzata Cemetery, Wayzata Blvd. at Walker St., Wayzata. Honor Guard ceremony at 9:45 a.m. conducted by Wayzata American Legion Post 118.

Parkers Lake Cemetery, County Rd. 6 at Niagara Lane, Plymouth. Honor Guard ceremony at 8:30 a.m. by Wayzata American Legion Post 118.

Pioneers and Soldiers Memorial Cemetery, 2945 Cedar Av. S., Minneapolis. The 140th annual observance will begin at 10 a.m. 612-729-8484.

Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 13 and Portland Av., Burnsville. Service at 10:30 a.m. sponsored by Dan Patch American Legion Post 643.

Prior Lake Parade starts at the VFW, Main Av. and Pleasant St. The 9 a.m. parade will proceed down Main Avenue to Veteran's Memorial Park on 160th St. and Franklin Trail for a memorial service.

Purgatory Creek Park, 8080 Mitchell Rd., Eden Prairie. The 11 a.m. service celebrates the first annual event at the new Veterans Memorial Wall. Mayor Phil Young will emcee. There will be a T-6 Thunder flyover and a cannon salute.

Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Av. S., Mendota Heights. Rain or shine, a mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Harry J. Flynn. The program is sponsored by VFW Post 6690 and American Legion Hamline Post 418.

Richfield American Legion Post 435, 6501 Portland Av., Richfield. Honoring All Veterans Memorial ceremony begins at 1:30 p.m. just north of the Legion building. The one-hour ceremony is weather-permitting. Bring your own lawn chair.

Riverview Cemetery, 333 E. Annapolis St., St. Paul. Open noon to 8 p.m. Service at 10:15 a.m. with guest speaker, Thomas J. Schepers.

Rockford Parade and Services. Parade starts at 10 a.m. from the Middle School with Navy services at the Crow River and memorial services at the Elmwood Cemetery. Pork chop dinner at 11 a.m. in Lions Park. Pie and ice cream social from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Historic Stork House. For more information, call 763-477-5045.

Roselawn Cemetery, 803 Larpenteur Av., Roseville. Open sunrise to sunset. Rosetown Legion and the Roseville VFW will present the service at 10 a.m. at Soldiers Rest. The North Suburban Chorus will sing.

St. Anne's Cemetery, 200 Hamel Rd., Hamel. The Rev. Kevin Magner will celebrate mass at 10:30 a.m. The Hamel American Legion, John Pohlker Post 394, will honor veterans at 11 a.m. with a three-volley salute and taps.

St. Anthony's Cemetery, 2729 Central Av. NE., Minneapolis. The Rev. Earl Simonson will celebrate mass at 10 a.m. with VFW Post 182. In case of rain, mass will be at the Church of St. Clement, 911 24th Av. NE, Minneapolis.

St. Jean's Cemetery, County Rd. 50, Corcoran. The Rev. George Kinney will say a prayer and at 9 a.m. the Hamel American Legion, John Pohlker Post 394, will do a three-volley salute and taps.

St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Williams Dr. and Judicial Rd., Burnsville/Savage. At 9 a.m., the American Legion and Knights of Columbus will lead a prayer and memorial service followed by mass at 10 am. The Rev. Michael Tix will preside.

St. Joseph's Cemetery, 13015 Rockford Rd., Plymouth. The Hamel American Legion, John Pohlker Post 394 will honor veterans at 10:10 a.m. with a three-volley salute and taps.

St. Mary's Cemetery, 4403 Chicago Av., Minneapolis. The Rev. Joseph Gillespie will celebrate mass at 10 a.m. with the Knights of Columbus Council 435 and American Legion Post 345. In case of rain, mass will be at the Church of Holy Name, 3637 11th Av. S., Minneapolis.

St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral Cemetery, 31st Av. & Stinson Blvd. NE., Minneapolis. Liturgy at 8:30 a.m. Program at 10 a.m. at the Annunciation Chapel.

St. Patrick's Cemetery, County Rd. 10, Maple Grove. At 9:45 a.m., the Rev. George Kinney will say a prayer and the Hamel American Legion, John Pohlker Post 394, will present a three-volley salute and taps.

St. Thomas Cemetery, 2000 County Rd. 10, Corcoran. The Rev. George Kinney will celebrate mass at 8 a.m. The Hamel American Legion John Pohlker Post 394 will present a three-volley salute and taps at 8:45 a.m.

Stillwater Veterans Memorial, Third and Pine St., Stillwater. Rain or shine, the public memorial will be at 11 a.m. The speaker is Lt. Col. Donald Pelton.

Summit Hill Cemetery, Wayzata Blvd. at Hwy. 12, Wayzata. American Legion Post 118 will conduct an Honor Guard ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2250 NE. St. Anthony Blvd., Minneapolis. Service at 12:30 p.m. at the chapel on the mall.

Temple of Aaron Cemetery, Dale St. and Larpenteur Av., St. Paul. Service at 11 a.m.

Temple Israel Memorial Park, 42nd St. and 3rd Av. S., Minneapolis. Service at 11:30 a.m.

Union Cemetery, 2505 Minnehaha Av. E., Maplewood. Service at 10 a.m. with guest speaker Vic Tedesco and the Lakewood Temple Salvation Army Band. Honor Guard provided by the 4th degree Knights of Columbus.

Veterans for Peace, State Capitol Grounds, John Ireland Blvd. and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Service at 9 a.m. at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The public is invited for music, poetry and guest speakers during a shared remembrance in the grassy area adjacent to the memorial.

Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Rd., Woodbury. American Legion Post 501 will hold the first service at 10 a.m. at the new Lions Veterans Memorial. The service will include the dedication of more than 210 pavers. The keynote speaker is Lt. Col. Joel Fortenberry, professor of Aerospace Studies at the University of Minnesota. Mayor Bill Hargis also will speak.
