Northbound Blue Line riders can expect trips to take a bit longer on several nights this spring and summer.

Metro Transit will be doing maintenance in tunnels at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport between 8 and 11 p.m. Tuesday, and that will delay northbound trains between 10 and 15 minutes, the agency said.

The work also will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, May 28-29, June 6-11 and 18-19 and July 8-12.

While the work is confined to the tunnels, the delays will be experienced along the entire 11-mile line that connects downtown Minneapolis with the Mall of America.

Train service between Terminal 1-Lindbergh and Terminal 2-Humphrey will continue, but passengers can expect delay at the airport, the agency said.
