Disptach 2: 9-1-1. What's the address of your emergency?

Caller: 1879 230th. Somebody's robbing us. They've shot. There's guns out here. Quick.

Disptach 2: Somebody's robbing you?

Caller: Yes. Please.

Dispatch 2: And they shot guns off?

Caller: Yes. Get out here.

Dispatch 2: Just a moment please, stay on the line with me. Hello? Hello? (Lost call.)

Time: 10:24:06 PM, February 8, 2009

Dispatch 1: 9-1-1. What is the address of your emergency?

Caller: 1879 230th Avenue.

Dispatch 1: Okay. What's going on there, ma'am?

Caller: Please, somebody has broken in.

Dispatch 1: Somebody has broken into your home?

Caller: Yes. Get here.

Dispatch 1: OK, I need you to go somewhere safe in your house, ma'am.

Caller: I can't. He, he stabbed me.

Dispatch 1: He stabbed you? Ma'am?

Dispatch 1: I lost her. She said she's been stabbed.

Dispatch 2: Said she's been stabbed?

Dispatch 1: Yeah. I lost her again. She says they're in her house.

(Dialing back recording.)

Dispatch 1 talking on radio to dispatch units.

(Dialing)

(Ringing)

Recording: (fog horn sound) Gosh, what a bummer! There's no one available at the moment.

(Dial tone.)

(Dialing.)

(Ringing.)

Dispatch 1: Lois?

Caller: Hello?

Dispatch 1: Who is this?

Caller: It's Larry Steenerson.

Dispatch 1: Larry, what's going on in that house?

Caller: They're trying to kill us here. Craig. Ohh! Craig Hohenwald. Ohh!! Ohh!!

Dispatch 1: Craig Hohenwald? (Sounds of struggle) How many people are in that house, Larry? (Breaking glass.) Larry? Larry?

Caller: Ohh!! (Struggling.)

Dispatch 1: Larry, how many people are in the house?

Caller: Ohh!! (Struggling.)

Dispatch 1: Larry? Larry? Larry? Larry? Larry? Stay with me, Larry. We have help on the way, OK? Larry? Larry?

3100 to all units responding. Ah, he named off a person. He said a Craig is in the residence. He's trying to kill them. Um, Larry actually got on the phone. I can't get him to talk any longer. I heard a lot of scuffling. A lot of fighting. The line is still open at this time.

Dispatch 1: Larry? Larry?

Dispatch 1 to staff: He said Craig. He said Craig Hohenwald.

Dispatch 1: Larry? Larry, if you can hear me. Larry? Larry?

Dispatch 1: 3220 at 2224 use caution. I have no idea where anybody's at right now. I can hear stuff going on in the house still.

Dispatch 1: Larry? Larry?

Dispatch 1: Larry?

Caller: Hello!

Dispatch 1: Hi. Who's this?

Caller: This is Lois.

Dispatch 1: Lois?

Caller: They stabbed us.

Dispatch 1: Okay, Lois. Where were you stabbed at?

Caller: On my neck.

Dispatch 1: OK, you stay right there, honey. OK!

Caller: I can't.

Dispatch 1: I've got ambulances on the way for you. OK, you've been stabbed?

Caller: I'm dying! Ohh!!

Dispatch 1: I've got help coming. I've got help coming, Lois. You stay with me, OKy? Lois, stay with me! Lois!

3100 units there I do have a female party. I've lost her again. She said she's been stabbed in the back.

(Radio traffic.)

Dispatch 1: Lois? Lois? Lois? Lois? Come on, Lois, stay with me, OK? If you can hear me, Lois, I've got help outside.

(Phone ringing.)

State Patrol Dispatch: State Patrol calling. What was the address?

Dispatch 1: It's 1879 230th Avenue, and I don't exactly know where everybody's at in this. I've got a female party that's stabbed in the residence. I don't know where all the other people are. I've got to get back to her.

State Patrol Dispatch: Okay, thank you.

Dispatch 1: Lois? Lois? Lois? Lois? Lois? Give me a sign, Lois. If you can still hear me, hon, give me a sign.

(Dog barking in distance?)

Dispatch 1: Lois? Lois is there an. Lois? Lois?

(Call disconnected.)
