Tao Te

The classic Chinese text of the "Tao Te Ching" serves as inspiration for an intensely physical duet coming to Bedlam Lowertown for a one-night-only performance. Created by acclaimed Hungarian choreographer Ferenc Fehér and presented by international artist exchange Link Vostok, the piece riffs on the "Tao Te" of the ancient work's title — translating, roughly, as "the path of virtue." Searching for the harmony between a meaningful life and the failures that inevitably occur along the way, Fehér's work features two male dancers moving through a series of conflicts and inner struggles. (7 p.m. Thu., Bedlam Lowertown, 213 E. 4th St., St. Paul; $15, 1-507-323-3526, bedlamtheatre.org.)
