Four people have died as the result of injuries suffered Friday night in two crashes on Minnesota roads, according to the State Patrol.

A motorcyclist and his passenger, as well as the driver of a car that veered into their lane, died of injuries suffered in a collision just before 11 p.m. Friday on Hwy. 107 near Milepost 15 in Pine County.

John Lampman, 38, of Shoreview, and his passenger Stacy Johnson, 29, of Bethel, were southbound on a motorcycle that struck a northbound car driven by Daniel Bruneau, 54, of Isanti, after it crossed into the southbound lane.

Both men died at the scene, and Johnson died after being taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Brent Ambrose, 39, of Cambridge, who was a passenger in Bruneau's car, was not hurt.

Neither motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet, the patrol said.

Earlier Friday night, a 29-year-old man from Oakdale died when his motorcycle struck a car in Belle Plaine, in Scott County.

He was traveling south on Hwy. 25 at "high speeds" when he broadsided a 2005 Toyota Corolla traveling north on County Road 64 at the intersection just before 10 p.m., the patrol said.

The rider died after being taken to Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. His name has not been released.

The driver of the car, Clifford Boateng, 55, of Shakopee, had noncritical injuries.
