Semitrailer truck full of hogs crashes in Maple Grove

Accident scene as cleanup continued this morning.

A semitrailer truck carrying live pigs crashed Thursday on the exit ramp of eastbound Interstate 94 near I-494 in Maple Grove.

The crash occurred about 5 a.m. and closed the right lane.

The truck was carrying about 100 hogs, and about 10 got loose temporarily.

The State Patrol said the driver received minor injuries.
