I-35 wreck in Pine County kills one

A car changing lanes this morning on northbound Interstate 35 in Pine County lost control, crossed the median and was struck by a southbound truck, killing the car's driver, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m., about a quarter-mile north of the Sandstone exit, the State Patrol said.

The name of the car's driver was being withheld pending notification of family. Information about the truck driver was not immediately available.
