Benefit to aid family's search for Thief River Falls woman

The family of a missing Thief River Falls, Minn., woman has enlisted the services of a private investigator to help look for Gina Anderson, who was last seen more than a month ago.

Investigator Gary Peterson, of Spring Valley, Minn., met with members of Anderson's family Sunday evening in Thief River Falls, said Anderson's sister, Jackie Pagel.

Anderson has been missing since Oct. 23. To cover expenses connected with the search for Anderson, her family has organized the Hope For Gina Benefit. A spaghetti dinner, bake and craft sale and live auction will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Eagles Club in Thief River Falls. Donations for the auction can be sent to the Hope For Gina Fund at the Northern State Bank, P.O. Box 639, Thief River Falls, MN 56701.

Last month, the Carole Sund/Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation said it was offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information on Anderson's whereabouts.
