The new Counties Transit Improvement Board authorized $86 million in grants on Wednesday.

CONSTRUCTION

$26 million: Central Corridor light-rail

$9.9 million: Fridley station for Northstar commuter-rail

$7 million: Apple Valley bus rapid transit station, Cedar Avenue

OPERATING COSTS

$30.8 million: Metropolitan Council/Metro Transit

$7.5 million: Hiawatha light-rail

$3.8 million: Northstar commuter rail

$85,000: South metro bus rapid transit

WASHINGTON COUNTY

$950,000: For capital or operating costs including commuter bus
