St. Michael girl hurt in ATV accident dies

A 15-year-old girl injured earlier this month in an all-terrain vehicle accident has died, the Hennepin County medical examiner said.

Annette Leuer, of St. Michael, died Sunday evening at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale where she was being treated for injuries she sustained in the accident that happened while she was riding near her home on Oct. 16.

Leuer played softball for the St. Michael-Albertville Knights according to photos posted at her Caring Bridge web site.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Services will be at the church at 11 a.m. Thursday, according to Peterson Funeral Chapel.
