OCONOMOWOC, Wis. — Two people had to be rescued after the ice boat they were sailing in broke through the ice on Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc.
Police say they got a call Sunday afternoon about an overturned boat on the lake. The dive team arrived and pulled two people from the water. They were about 1,000 feet from the beach and on ice that was about an inch thick.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/1APx3HV) the names, ages and genders of the victims have not been released by police. Neither person was injured.
The Fire Department pulled the ice boat from the lake.
