MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say a 42-year-old man fatally shot a man who was trying to rob him.
A Milwaukee police spokesman said Thursday the Milwaukee County district attorney's office reviewed the case Wednesday and determined the shooting was a justified self-defense homicide.
Police say the 24-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the Saturday shooting.
The 42-year-old man was taken to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries and was released.
The spokesman says authorities are withholding the name of the man who died for investigative reasons.
