Authorities identify Eagan man in cycle crash

Last update: September 2, 2008 - 6:24 PM

A 28-year-old Eagan man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into another motorcycle early Monday morning.

Authorities Tuesday identified the man as Denny Matthew Gragert, who was southbound on Kenrick Avenue, north of County Road 46, when he ran into the back of the other cycle and was thrown into the road. The driver of the other motorcycle was arrested by officers at the scene on suspicion of DWI; he was in the Dakota County jail pending charges.

Lakeville police said Gragert, who died at the scene, was not wearing a helmet.
