A man and a woman were killed in separate incidents overnight Saturday in south Minneapolis, according to police.
Police said a man was found shot at 11:40 p.m. Friday on the 2700 block of Blaisdell Avenue South. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died.
At 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the area of 4th Avenue South and Franklin Avenue East, a woman was found with an apparent stab wound. She also died later at HCMC.
In both incidents, police said the suspects had fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the identities of the deceased, along with official causes of death.
