A man shot late at night over the weekend in Minneapolis has died, and no arrests have been made, authorities said Wednesday.

The shooting occurred outside about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 4900 block of Camden Avenue N., police said.

The man, whose identity has yet to be released, was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale and died later that day, according to police.

The man had just left one home down the block and was shot in front of another address, said police spokesman John Elder.

Police say they do not believe the violence is random.
