A St. Louis Park homeowner escaped her burning house after she and neighbors heard explosions Monday night.

The house at 2917 Texa Tonka Av. caught fire about 6:30 p.m. said St. Louis Park Fire Chief Steve Koering.

CenterPoint Energy found no gas leaks and investigators do not yet know the cause of the fire, although Koering said there were oxygen tanks in the house.

Marsha Kurvers, who was the only one in the house, was standing outside her home when emergency crews arrived and was taken to a hospital and treated for smoke inhalation, Koering said. She was reported to be in satisfactory condition Monday night at Hennepin County Medical Center.
