In about a week, Richfield Public Schools should have a new leader.

The school board recently narrowed down its list of finalists for the superintendent's post, which is being vacated by the retiring Robert Slotterback. The board plans to make a final decision by next Wednesday

The three finalists are: Steven Unowsky, Assistant Superintendent in St. Paul; Dierdre Wells, Superintendent, Inver Grove Heights and David Law, Assistant Superintendent, White Bear Lake.

Law is one of three finalists for the Anoka-Hennepin superintendent's job.

Interviews for the three finalists will take place next Monday through Wednesday. A decision is expected on Wednesday.
