One dead, five injured in rollover crash

Emergency personnel rushed a woman to an ambulance as others tended to another victim, pinned beneath a vehicle involved in a rollover accident in I-94 at Prior Avenue in St. Paul.

The State Patrol said a vehicle westbound on I-94 lost control and rolled onto the right shoulder, killing a 36-year-old St. Paul woman.

A 36-year-old St. Paul woman is dead and five people were injured, four of them children, after a rollover crash on Interstate 94 in St. Paul  on Saturday morning.

The State Patrol identified the dead woman as Rosalie F. Gonsor, a passenger thrown from a westbound Nissan Pathfinder driven by Naomi Willis of Maplewood.

The one-vehicle accident happened shortly after 10 a.m. near Prior Avenue. The crash shut down two lanes of the interstate for nearly two hours.

The children, ranging from an infant to a 12-year-old, were treated at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Three of them were children of the driver.
