Police in Florida are searching for two missing girls who may be headed to northern Minnesota with their father.

The two girls, Madison and McKala Peters, were last seen in Inverness, Fla. At that time, Madison Peters was reading a pink Minnesota T-shirt and McKala Peters was wearing white shorts, a blue and pink shirt and flip flops.

Police said the girls and their father, Edward Peters, may be traveling in a black 2000 Buick Bravada with Michigan plates. That vehicle was stolen from a campground in Michigan.

Anyone with information about the girls is urged to call local law enforcement or 911.
