Missing 85-year-old St. Paul man is found at bus stop
St. Paul police said an 85-year-old man who went missing Tuesday was found in Minneapolis.
Robert Oslund was located at a bus stop in the area of 25th and 27th Avenues S.
He had last been seen Tuesday around 9 a.m. at a parking ramp near Kellogg Boulevard and Sibley Street in downtown St. Paul, police spokesman Howie Padilla said. Oslund had been with his daughter when he walked away and she lost sight of him, Padilla said.
Oslund had apparently gotten into a disagreement with his daughter, who was taking him to a guardianship hearing that could have had him declared a vulnerable adult, according to police spokesman Sgt. Paul Paulos. He hit her and then left, Paulos said.
Man charged with raping girl he messaged on Facebook
An 18-year-old man exchanged messages with a 15-year-old girl on Facebook, showed up at her Rosemount home in the middle of the night and raped her, according to authorities, and investigators say they suspect there are more victims.
Michael L. Stucky Jr., of Northfield, has been charged in Dakota County District Court with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, one of them filed because of the girl’s age.
“Information obtained by police during the course of their investigation has led police to believe there could be other victims,” the county attorney’s office said in a statement released Tuesday. Rosemount police can be contacted at 651-322-2001 with information about additional victims.
