This is supposed to be the last weekend of total shutdowns on Hwy. 169 through Brooklyn Park, New Hope and Golden Valley. For the second weekend in a row, drivers in Burnsville and Lakeville will run into construction and bridge painting. Through Monday, southbound drivers on I-35 will have to endure a single lane from the I-35/35W/35E split to County Road 50.

Route changes take effect on several Minnesota Valley Transit Authority routes on Saturday.

MnDOT is reminding drivers to pay attention in work zones and follow the posted speed limits to keep the roads safe.
