DULUTH, Minn. — Four children and one adult were injured in an escalator accident in Duluth and taken to the hospital.
Police say officers were called to the downtown Wells Fargo building Wednesday afternoon on a report of 20 people stuck on an escalator.
Authorities say the children were with day care providers and some were afraid to get off the escalator, creating a pileup.
WDIO-TV (http://bit.ly/16BpBkL ) says the injured were treated for cuts and scrapes and one child had a serious ankle injury.
