Monday, July 1: Richard Moe, former president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and author of “The Last Full Measure: The Life and Death of the First Minnesota Volunteers,” speaks at 7 p.m. Reservation required, call 651-259-3015. Entry fee. Minnesota History Center.

Tuesday, July 2: Civil War music and dance of the era, procession to nearby Josias King Monument. Events begin at 5:30 p.m. Free. Minnesota History Center.

Wednesday, July 3: Surviving the Civil War. Events begin at 6:30 p.m. Entry fee. James J. Hill House.

Thursday, July 4: Gettysburg/Vicksburg Anniversary Family Day from noon to 4 p.m. Participation fee. Minnesota History Center. 

Capitol Civil War Tours of State Capitol at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Online reservations required. Entry fee. Minnesota State Capitol.

Saturday, July 6: Civil War Family Day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Participation fee. Minnesota State Capitol.
