A husband and wife were found shot to death in their home over the weekend in the central Minnesota community of Little Falls Township, and a handgun was recovered at the scene, authorities said.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies were called to the home in the 16100 block of Hidden Acres Drive about 6:15 p.m. Saturday and found the couple, adding that no suspects are being sought and the public is not in danger.

The two were identified Monday as Richard C. Lakeman, 75, and his wife, Cynthia A. Lakeman, 45. They lived just west of the Popple Lake State Wildlife Management Area.

Sheriff Michel Wetzel said a .38-caliber revolver was recovered in the home.
