Minneapolis Pioneers and Soldiers memorial Cemetery

What:  At 155 years old, it’s one of the state’s oldest graveyards. Of the more than 20,000 people buried there, 200 are veterans, including three from the War of 1812 and 164 Civil War veterans.

Where: Its 27 acres sit on the northeast corner of E. Lake Street and Cedar Avenue S. in the heart of the Phillips neighborhood.
Hours: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday, April 15 to Oct. 15.
