The Minnesota State Patrol has released the name of a man killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Meeker County.
Barry Gronli, 36, of Sartell, Minn. died when his 2004 Oldsmobile Alero crossed the center line on State Hwy. 15 and collided with a northbound dump truck about 4 miles south of Kimball, Minn., the State Patrol said.
The dump truck caught on fire following the collision, which was reported about 11:05 a.m. The truck driver, Jason Kantor, 30, of Clearwater, Minn., was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with neck pain, the patrol said.
Gronli died at the scene from "multiple traumatic injuries", the patrol said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
The crash is under investigation.
