Plainview man sentenced in child porn case

A man from Plainview, Minn. was sentenced Monday to 121 months in prison for receiving child pornography, the United States Attorney's Office Minnesota District said.

Jon Wendell Green also was sentenced to supervised release for life according to the sentence handed down by United States District Court Judge Patrick Schlitz.

Green was charged with one count of receiving child pornography in December and pleaded guilty in January.

According to his plea agreement entered in August, Green knowingly received one or more digital video files of minors engaging in sexually explicit acts. The images included 271 video clips and 7,461 images stored on Green's computer hard drive and on compact discs, the Attorney's Office said.
