Portion of I-394 to close this weekend for bridge work

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will shut down a portion of eastbound Interstate Hwy. 394 this weekend for a bridge repair project.

The freeway will be closed from Hwy. 100 in Golden Valley to Interstate Hwy. 94 in Minneapolis. In addition, the HOV/MnPass lane, ramps from eastbound I-394 to I-94 and the ramp from Penn Avenue to eastbound I-394 will be shut.

The closings begin at 7 p.m. Friday and will last until 5 a.m. Monday.

Eastbound motorists will be detoured north on Hwy. 100, then east on Hwy. 55.
