The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the man killed Monday in a crash involving three vehicles on Hwy. 12 in Kandiyohi County as Arlo Gordon of Willmar, Minn.
According to the patrol, Gordon, 66, was driving westbound near the Fabric & Textile Warehouse on the east end of Willmar about 3:15 p.m. when he crossed the center line and sideswiped an eastbound semitrailer truck. Gordon's 1994 Pontiac van then hit the back tires of the truck, the patrol said.
Gordon was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, Richard Reznecheck, 54, of Willmar, was treated for minor injuries at the scene, the patrol said.
A third driver was injured when debris from the collision hit her 2003 Chevy Impala. Lori A. Schneider, 47, of Pennock, Minn., was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released, the patrol said.
The crash is under investigation.
