A rare copy of the Declaration of Independence can be viewed for free through May 18 at the Minnesota History Center, 345 Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

A special showing for veterans, service members and their families will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
