Dr. Jane Goodall, best known for her study of chimpanzees and her establishment of an institute to protect the species and its habitats, will be the commencement speaker Saturday for the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
At 11 a.m., Goodall will give a public lecture at the U's Mayo Memorial Auditorium. Commencement is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Northrop Auditorium. Both events are free and open to the public.
