Last update: April 30, 2008 - 1:06 AM

Minneapolis' new-look police squad cars were unveiled this morning at City Hall.

Other cities around the state have gone retro, returning to the class black and white look. And now Minneapolis has followed that trend, with white doors and black fenders on the Ford Crown Victorias.

The changeover also follows the State Patrol's recent throwback move to a revised appearance for its squad cars.
