GLYNDON, MINN. -- Authorities say a 42-year-old Glyndon man died when he was hit by a car in Glyndon in that northwestern Minnesota town.
Julio Betancourt-Arpero was hit on Hwy. 10 in town at about 10 p.m. Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The patrol said witnesses said he had tried to run across the road but slipped and fell into the path of the car. The driver, who was not injured, was interviewed.
Sgt. Randy Harms of the State Patrol said the vehicle's speed, drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
