Who's eligible?

Under the program officially known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, undocumented immigrants are eligible for two-year deportation waivers, which can be renewed, if they:

are younger than 31

came to the United States before age 16

are enrolled in school, or graduated from high school or served in the U.S. armed forces

have no criminal record

To get applications, go to www.uscis.gov/childhoodarrivals. Applicants must pay a $465 fee and provide proof of identity and eligibility.
