Lime green might not be an autumn color, but it's fading along with fall. The Nice Ride bike season ended Sunday, and worker Jessamine Bristow loaded bikes onto a truck near downtown Minneapolis on Monday. (Equipment will be put away this week, making room for the inevitable snowplows, but there's no need to dwell on that yet, is there?) The bike-sharing organization expected to end the year with about 275,000 rentals, its best season ever. Yearly subscribers are reminded to hang on to their keys, as subscriptions last 365 days from the date the key was activated. Nice Ride's season typically begins the first week of April.
