Potholes aplenty in Minneapolis this spring

The city of Minneapolis is reporting a "bumper crop" of potholes this spring.

Maintenance crews have been putting temporary patches on major potholes for the past several weeks, the a city spokesman said, and will turn to more permanent repairs as warmer weather approaches.

Problem potholes can be reported by calling 311 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday or by going online at www.startribune.com/a4250.
