Gov. Mark Dayton will attend a funeral this afternoon for a UPS driver killed in a Minneapolis workplace shooting last week.

Keith Basinski, 50, was making a delivery at Accent Signage Systems on last Thursday when he was one of five victims shot and killed last week by former employee Andrew Engeldinger, who fatally shot himself. Authorities said Basinski was in the wrong place at the wrong time during the shooting. Two others remain hospitalized.

Basinski, a father of three ages 19 to 25, was honored in several makeshift memorials throughout the Bryn Mawr neighborhood of Minneapolis, where he made regular deliveries along his route. A sign on a nearby business Thursday morning read "We will miss you, Keith."

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Christian Center, 7777 University Av. NE., Spring Lake Park.

A memorial fund has been established for the Basinski family. Contributions may be sent to the Minnesota Teamsters Service Bureau, 2828 University Av. SE., Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55414-3384 in care of the Keith Basinski Memorial Fund.

Also killed in the shooting was Accent Signage Systems owner Reuven Rahamim and employees Rami Cooks, Ronald Edberg and Jacob Beneke.
