World-record baking attempt set for MOA

The World's Largest Bake Sale at the Mall of America is just trying to raise a little dough for a good cause.

During the sale Sunday, Duff Goodman of the Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" will attempt to set a world record for making the world's largest cupcake. A representative from the Guinness Book of World Records will be on hand to verify the record-setting cupcake.

The event is sponsored by Share Our Strength, a group that works to reduce childhood hunger. It is encouraging Americans to end childhood hunger by raising money through bake sales.

Money raised from this bake sale will given to organizations in the Minneapolis area fighting childhood hunger.
