St. Paul police investigate near the shooting scene on Friday night. Three men were shot, police said.
Three men were shot and wounded Friday night in St. Paul, with at least one of them critically hurt, police said.
Officers were called at about 9 p.m. to the 500 block of Thomas Avenue, in the Frogtown neighborhood, where they found the wounded men.
The shootings, which didn't appear to be random, occurred during some kind of "celebration" and appeared to be the result of an ongoing dispute, said St. Paul police spokesman Howie Padilla. He did not know whether the men were shot inside a residence or just outside it.
Late Friday, police had a large area blocked off with yellow crime tape and were interviewing witnesses.
