Man fatally stabbed at bus stop in north Minneapolis

A man was stabbed to death Friday night at a bus shelter in north Minneapolis.
About 7:30 p.m., police responded to a stabbing at 18th and Lyndale Avenues N., according to Minneapolis police Sgt. Steve McCarty. Attempts to revive the victim were unsuccessful, and he died at the scene.
Nobody was in custody late Friday, McCarty said, adding there does not appear to be a threat to public safety.
