The snow that was forecast for the Twin Cities area went south, so commuters aren’t facing the tough drive today that many had expected. Snow is falling this morning along the I-90 corridor from Fairmont to Albert Lea.

The National Weather Service calls for a cloudy day today in the metro area, with a high in the upper 30s. Similar conditions are expected on Friday.

Saturday there is a chance of rain or snow after noon, with a high of 44. Saturday night there is a chance of snow with a low of 29.

Sunday will see another chance of precipitation in the morning, with a high of 45.
