A man and woman were found dead in a home in west-central Minnesota, prompting an investigation by several law enforcement agencies.

Family members called authorities to the home north of Benson shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Swift County Sheriff's Office.

Inside the home in the 400 block of Hwy. 29 NE., about 30 miles northwest of Willmar, were the bodies of a 45-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, the Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities did not release any other details.

Along with the Sheriff's Office, other agencies involved in the case include the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Benson Police Department.
