A 22-year-old Minneapolis man is expected to be charged this week in the death of a man shot early Monday at Washington and Chicago Avenues S. in Minneapolis.

Police were called at 2:30 a.m. to the intersection on the edge of downtown, near the Metrodome, where the body was discovered.

The shooting occurred after a traffic collision resulting in an argument between occupants of the two vehicles, police said.

The victim's name and cause of death are expected to be released today by the Hennepin County medical examiner.

The suspect was arrested Monday afternoon without incident in the 5700 block of 24th Avenue S.

He was booked into the Hennepin County jail on probable cause for murder.
