Two $200,000 winning lottery tickets still unredeemed

Jackpot is $275 million for Saturday's drawing

Last update: March 14, 2008 - 12:36 PM

A Powerball player who bought a lottery ticket for Wednesday's drawing now owns a ticket worth $200,000. The ticket was sold in Anoka County, state lottery officials said.

It's not the only big unclaimed prize. A ticket sold in Stearns County for the Feb. 13 drawing has not been turned in. That ticket holder also will collect $200,000 when the ticket is redeemed.

Ticket holders have one year to collect their winnings, the lottery said.

The winning numbers Wednesday were 12, 19, 30, 34, 36 and the Powerball was 8.

About $275 million will be up for grabs when the next drawing takes place at 9:59 p.m. Saturday.

If somebody wins, the annuity option would pay out $4.9 million in the first year and would grow to $15.2 million in year 30. The cash option would pay out $135.7 million, or about $91.9 million after taxes and withholding.

To redeem a winning lottery ticket, call 1-888-568-8379 or 651-635-8273 and press option 1.
