Price of the parks

It will cost more to try the six new rides at Nickelodeon Universe, the overhauled amusement park at the Mall of America. Daily tickets have gone up 25 percent from $24.95 to $29.95, and annual passes have jumped from $99 to $250. Here's a look at prices at the MOA's park and elsewhere.

Notes: Valleyfair season passes jump from $79.95 to 99.95 after Memorial Day. Six Flags' daily ticket price increases from $39.99 to $54.99 after April 26. Disney World price is for Florida residents and includes blackout days during peak periods. A pass without blackout dates costs residents $372.75. A Disneyland pass without blackout dates is $379. Prices are generally lower for young children.
