Lyndale entrance to 62 closed 'til '09

Ramp closing to allow for bridge construction

Last update: March 3, 2008 - 10:06 PM

The entrance ramp leading from Lyndale Avenue to eastbound Crosstown Hwy. 62 on the Minneapolis-Richfield border closed on Monday and will remain so until the fall of 2009, MnDOT said.

The closing is necessary to allow crews to build bridges that are part of the Interstate 35/Hwy. 62 reconstruction project.

The exit ramp from southbound I-35W/westbound Hwy. 62 to Lyndale Avenue remains open. That ramp will close in early May, MnDOT said.
