Foley man dies in one-vehicle accident

Foley man dies in rollover in Benton County.

A 46-year-old man from Foley, Minn., was killed early Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident in Benton County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the man was driving westbound on Hwy. 23 about 12:40 a.m. when he veered off the road and went into the ditch near County Rd. 25. His car rolled over and struck a tree.

The driver, whose name has not been released, was not wearing a seat belt, but an airbag deployed, the patrol said. Roads were dry at the time of the crash.
