Man's body found in car

Victim has not been identified

Authorities responding to a call about an abandoned car Monday found the body of an adult male inside, the St. Louis County sheriff's office said Tuesday.

A deputy made the discovery on a road north of Hwy. 1 and Carpenter Road in Field Township, west of Cook, Minn.

The name of the victim has not been released, but the sheriff's office said it does not appear as if the man was from the area.

Foul play is not suspected, but the death is under investigation.
